| Ali Ibrahim-Adelaziz was born in Cairo, Egypt and has been a member of Jackson's for three years. Currently residing in New York, Ali trains at Kru Phil Nurse's The Wat, and represents some of our family on the East Coast. Ali began training in judo in Egypt at the age of five and was competing in the Olympics by the age of seventeen. His dedication and hard work in the sport merited him five national championships and four African Pan Am victories. He moved to the United States when he was eighteen to further his judo training at the US Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, where he simultaneously trained, went to school and worked to support his family back in Egypt. In 2004, Ali was offered his first MMA fight at the Ring of Fire and in 2005 he joined Team Jackson to pursue MMA full time. Ali brings and impressive 513-33 record in judo into his game, which translates into a dangerously explosive and powerful fighting style. His willingness to face the top competition and dedication to the sport make him the perfect example of the heart and drive of a Jackson fighter. |
