|
Sayif began training in martial artsat the age of three. His training began at his fathers dojo in judo. He went on to win two state titles in judo. After the opening of a second dojo, Sayif began to focus more on Karate. He studied Shorin-Ryu karate and went on to win four national titles in the sport. He recieved his black belt in 1997 from the United Karate-do Kai. Shortly thereafter, Sayif began weight training to add strength and size to his physique. After just a few months, his body responded so well to the training he decided to give bodybuilding a try. He would go on to win the N.P.C. Midwestern States and many other bodybuilding titles. He was also featured on the cover of Beverly International Magazine. After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Political Science, Sayif continued his education by attending law school in Indianapolis.
Recently Sayif came back to his foundation in the martial arts. He began training with the legendary Greg Jackson in Albuquerque, NM in the Gaidojutsu system. Jacksons is the home of many of todays top-level fighters in the world. Sayif continues to train hard under the guidance of Coach Jackson who is one of the most respected trainers in the fight game.
